(Key #5): Discover Your True Self With Angels Series
How do you view life? Have you considered your particular vantage point recently? Are you upbeat in how you see life, or could your attitude use a tune-up?
Your Panoramic Vista of Life
If you were to peer at a huge, panoramic wallhanging depicting your life from childhood and onwards, what would you observe in that artwork?
Let the panorama sink in. Then, take a few moments to:
– get comfortable and be alone without distractions;
– close your eyes and relax by taking some deep breaths while consciously relaxing from your head down your body; then
– see what pictures, situations or thoughts come to mind for you about how you see life.
What pictures or thoughts have you had over the last few days, or even today? Again, relax, close your eyes and see what pictures or situations come to mind. Make a note of what you recall.
Let’s go further so you can unlock a a whole new attitude and reality about how you see life.
How About Your Spiritual Existence?
Now, let’s take in a few deeper questions.
Do you have thoughts about you as a soul and the spiritual world? We live in the two worlds of the spiritual and the physical at once, but often the physical world occupies most of our awareness. We may not be taking time to tune into our true selves and inner world.
What about thoughts, pictures or feelings about guides or angels, the bigger picture of life and the universe and how we are connected with these positive forces? If you have skirted over this aspect of living, then perhaps this is a part of your panorama that can use a refresh? We can make the spiritual an important, practical and inspiring part of our journey.
What Comes To Mind About How You See Life?
Any pictures, thoughts or feelings that spring to mind are all allowable—no need to judge. The key is being sincere with yourself. When we are clearer about where we are, we can move to understanding on a deeper level. We can make adjustments, if we want.
Congratulate Yourself!
One thing for sure is that you can give yourself kudos for taking time to read about topics like “How You See Life.” Despite all the demands the world may place on you, here you are, reading this blog, and taking time to clarify your true self.
Our Viewpoints Matter
When you viewed that panorama, did you see happy moments? Were you thinking about any past successes and the possibilities for the future?
On the other hand, do you find your attitude being hampered by external matters, such as the 7/24 news cycle, gossip or someone else’s opinion? Maybe there are past difficulties that go into auto play in your mind? These are viewpoints we can change, so that our attitude shifts. When our viewpoint changes, we may notice that what we attract into our life shifts, too.
Choosing a Constructive Attitude
You probably experience times when you feel clear, positive and directed. You know what you want and remain focused and constructive.
Do you attract buoyant, positive people and events? When you face challenges, do you take a constructive attitude in dealing with them and find a solution, or at least, not let those challenges throw you off?
For sure, our mental panorama can change on different days and at different periods in life. When we have a sense of ourselves as a soul in this School of Planet Earth, we tend to have a better attitude about life.
When we take time to tune in and work more from our good, kind, inner being and inner guidance, we find it easier to sense our unique path. We make decisions that are better for ourselves and others. We can avoid many of the troubles of the outside world, or know better how to address them.
Clarifying and Changing Concepts
As we learn and grow, we let go of outdated concepts or attitudes that may have been picked up in our early years. These attitudes no longer fit with our higher state of consciousness. We find new perspectives and better ways to engage with the world based on our expanded awareness.
Taking Time to Realize and Appreciate
Do you take time to look at what you’ve accomplished in your life? Or, how much you have expanded your state of awareness? Have you considered all the people you’ve touched, even down to the barista in the coffee shop or the young people you nurtured?
When we take stock periodically, we can renew our attitudes and change our perspective about certain events and situations. Regular regrouping is a key to a positive attitude and how you see life.
Evaluating But Not Judging
It helps to evaluate ourselves in a constructive frame of mind and not beat ourselves up or feel bad about stepping stones that have brought us to where we are today. We did what we could with what we knew at the time.
Keys to a New You
A new attitude means a new you! Think about that.
Do you feel you are gaining a deeper awareness about yourself and your world from the time you invest in your life?
Do you feel connected with people, nature and the world around you?
When challenges arise, do you take a solution-oriented approach? Do you seek answers and make the best of situations or possibly let them go for now?
Or, do you tend to hang on too long to a problem and wallow in pessimism or skepticism? When we brood, we can attract more negativity to the situation, and the problem can appear bigger and worse.
You may be aware of basics like these, but reviewing them can allow us to sharpen perspective as the good, kind, loving souls that we are.
Attracting the Positive into your Life
Are you attracting positive energy, people and situations into your life? Are you accomplishing your desires?
When we are relaxed and take time out for these questions, we may uncover new insights into how we perceive life, our attitudes and perhaps where we can broaden our perspective. We may decide it’s time! Yes, time for a new attitude and an even better you! You always have the option to be a re-born you.
Why be solution-oriented? Well, when your energy is up, you are letting your natural goodness emerge. You are also tapping into your wisdom, your guides or angels. You’re faced with life, so why not find out how you can enjoy it to the fullest? With that, we have a few keys.
Maintaining a healthy and happy viewpoint
The first key to a positive viewpoint is to realize that you are a soul first, living on Planet Earth. Your physical body is your anchor to the physical world, so you can move around and interact with people to learn, grow and accomplish your part in the larger scheme of things.
By opening up your inner communication, you can feel more balanced and have greater contentment. Without a perspective of being a soul on Planet Earth, you may overly focus on the physical, which can narrow your dimensions of reality and dull your sensitivity.
A few keys to a new attitude
Note that you can “check off” all the ones below you are doing and see if any of these are worth exploring.
- Periodically, get away from your environment for a vacation, a weekend or an outing.
- Learn to buffer yourself from the pressures and stress of the outside world. We have spiritual cleansing techniques that help us do this and stay more relaxed and connected within. (Contact us for more information.)
- Keep in mind that being more the Real You also means having a big picture of you as a unique spiritual being.
- Gravitate to people who are wholesome, positive and clearer within themselves. Their very presence in your life can help buffer you.
- Recognize that we live in two worlds: the physical and spiritual and seek to keep a balance between the two. If we focus too much on the physical, we sometimes start to ignore inklings, inner desires and our angels.
- Keep in mind that we live best when we live in the present, so savour it and all the beauty within that moment.
- Enjoy yourself whether that be through times with friends, family and colleagues or with a hike in the woods, or a good book. There’s much to enjoy on this wonderful journey of ours.
- Remember that you are loved and do your best to remember to love yourself. Know that you can always ask your angels to share their love with you. It’s wonderful—angelic love!
- Acknowledge that many people are simply doing the best they can. No need to judge ourselves or others.
Do any of the above stand out to you? Can you find a way to use one of these in your life?
All the best to you in having a joyous outlook on life!
